Role Overview

Business Development Manager (BDM)

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and build relationships with hospitals, medical institutions, diagnostic labs, and other healthcare providers.
• Pitch financial products and services tailored for healthcare needs (equipment financing, working capital, infrastructure funding, etc.).
• Lead end-to-end deal closures: from prospecting to negotiation and final execution.
• Collaborate with internal teams (underwriting, product, legal) to structure and customize deals.
• Stay updated with healthcare regulations, market trends, and competitive landscape.
• Prepare regular reports on pipeline, forecasts, and market feedback.
• Represent the company at healthcare conferences, seminars, and industry events.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in business development, preferably in healthcare finance or B2B sales within the healthcare sector.
• Demonstrated success in closing deals with hospitals or medical institutions.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare financing products and industry-specific challenges.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati (preferred).
