About BRIO

BRIO—an Indo-Italian powerhouse—is redefining the art of elevation through an extraordinary fusion of luxury, technology, and design. With an unwavering commitment to innovation and customer excellence, BRIO introduces the world’s most advanced home and commercial elevators, seamlessly blending safety, sophistication, and cutting-edge functionality.

Job Description: Business Development Manager (Sales)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Business Development Manager (Sales) with a proven track record in premium product sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving sales growth in alignment with organizational goals. This role requires a proactive individual willing to travel extensively—both domestically and internationally—to meet clients, explore new markets, and represent the BRIO brand at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share for BRIO’s premium elevator portfolio.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships, authorized distributors, and direct client engagements.

Client Relationship Management

Build and sustain long-term relationships with high-value clients—architects, real-estate developers, luxury home owners, and commercial project stakeholders—ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.

Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close high-ticket deals and secure key contracts.

Market Analysis & Insights

Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and evolving consumer preferences to refine sales strategies and product positioning.

Provide actionable insights and regular feedback to the leadership team to enhance BRIO’s value proposition and penetration in premium segments.

Travel & On-Site Presence

Travel extensively within assigned territories—and periodically abroad—to meet clients, attend trade shows, and represent BRIO at industry events.

Maintain a strong on-site presence at client locations to address queries, demonstrate product features, and reinforce trust in the BRIO brand.

Reporting & Compliance

Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to stakeholders at monthly and quarterly reviews.

Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and ethical business practices in all client interactions and agreements.

Key Requirements

Experience

Minimum of 5 years in premium product sales (preferably in luxury interiors, high-end construction, or architectural components), with a robust network in relevant industries.

Demonstrated success in consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets and managing a portfolio of high-value clients.

Skills & Attributes

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills—able to present complex technical features in a compelling, customer-centric manner.

Strong analytical abilities to interpret market data, identify growth opportunities, and adjust sales tactics in real time.

High level of self-motivation, results orientation, and ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA (or equivalent postgraduate qualification) is preferred but not mandatory.

Travel Readiness

Willingness to travel extensively—domestically across multiple states and internationally as needed.

Flexibility to adapt to diverse cultural environments and work across different time zones.

After 12 Months: Promotion to Senior Business Development Manager

Scope Expansion: Lead a larger territory or industry vertical (e.g., luxury residential vs. commercial high-rises).

Salary Hike: Performance-based increment of 15–20 % on base salary.

New Responsibilities: Mentor junior BDMs, co-design go-to-market plans for upcoming product launches, and present at select international trade shows.

Scope Expansion: Full P&L ownership for BRIO’s nationwide sales operations.

Salary Hike: Another 20–25 % uplift, plus an executive bonus plan that rewards exceeding revenue milestones by 10 % or more.

Global Exposure: Represent BRIO at major global exhibitions (e.g., Interlift in Germany, Elevators Expo in Dubai), and work closely with our Italian R&D/design partners to co-create market-specific innovations.

Beyond Year 4: Executive Leadership & Global Roles

Potential Roles: Vice President – Sales & Business Development (Elevator Division) or Head of International Markets.

Compensation: A competitive C-level package—fixed salary, profit-sharing, stock options, and overseas relocation assistance if needed.

Global Opportunities: Lead BRIO’s strategic expansion into new continents (North America, Europe) or take charge of global training initiatives, sharing BRIO’s design and safety best practices worldwide.

Why Join BRIO?

Luxury & Innovation: You’ll sell a product that is not just functional, but an architectural statement—designed in Italy and meticulously engineered in India.

High-Impact Role: Directly influence BRIO’s growth trajectory, with clear visibility to C-suite leadership and the opportunity to shape go-to-market strategies from day one.

Global Network: Collaborate with Indo-Italian teams, experience best-in-class processes from two continents, and build a diverse professional network.
