  • Research and identify new business opportunities, untapped customer segments, channel partnerships, and collaborations.
  • Track market trends, competitor strategies, and consumer behavior in the FMCG / nutraceutical space.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and strategic partners.
  • Act as a trusted partner to key stakeholders across the value chain.
  • Design and execute strategic business and sales plans aligned with revenue and market share goals.
  • Work closely with leadership to translate strategy into execution.
  • Generate and qualify leads through networking, outreach, industry events, and partnerships.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive pitches, presentations, and proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Lead negotiations, address objections, and close commercial agreements including sales and partnership contracts.
  • Ensure win-win outcomes that align with long-term business objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment.
  • Act as a bridge between market needs and internal teams.
  • Manage sales pipelines using CRM tools.
  • Track performance metrics and present regular reports to senior management.
  • Mentor and guide junior business development or sales team members as the team scales.


Required Skills & Qualifications


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
  • MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.


Experience

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in Business Development or Sales.
  • Prior experience in

    FMCG / Nutraceuticals / Health & Wellness

    is strongly preferred.


Core Skills

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking with high market awareness.
  • Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capability.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) and MS Office.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.


Other Requirements

  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
