Business Development Manager – Zudu AI (Voice Automation Platform)About Zudu AI

Zudu AI is an AI-driven voice automation platform that replaces traditional call centers with human-like AI voice agents. We help enterprises automate complex customer interactions, reduce operational costs, and scale intelligently. Our platform integrates with SIP trunks, CPaaS providers, CRMs, and enterprise workflows, offering accurate speech recognition, natural voice responses, analytics, and API-based integrations.

We’re expanding fast and looking for a high-performance Sales Development Manager to drive enterprise pipeline growth.

Role Overview

The Sales Development Manager will own inbound/outbound lead qualification, prospecting, discovery calls, and early-stage sales motions. You’ll work closely with founders, enterprise teams, CPaaS providers, and global partners to build a strong pipeline and accelerate Zudu’s enterprise adoption.

This role suits someone who understands SaaS or CPaaS sales, enterprise tech, APIs, or AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Qualification

  • Qualify inbound leads from website, events, partner channels, and API trials.
  • Build outbound lists targeting CPaaS, call centers, retailers, BFSI, healthtech, and telecom companies.
  • Run structured discovery to assess requirements, call volumes, integration needs, and deployment type (cloud/on-prem).

2. Sales Engagement

  • Deliver high-impact intro calls and platform walkthroughs.
  • Explain Zudu AI’s capabilities: voice automation, SIP integration, LiveKit, ASR/TTS, analytics, API workflows, etc.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineering for demos and POCs.
  • Position Zudu AI’s value clearly: cost reduction, accuracy, scalability, speed.

3. Pipeline Ownership

  • Maintain a strong pipeline using CRM (HubSpot/Zoho).
  • Track and report lead progress, conversion, and deal velocity.
  • Ensure consistent follow-ups with warm leads, prospects, and partners.

4. Enterprise Sales Support

  • Prepare customer requirement briefs for the technical team.
  • Coordinate POCs, pilot setups, and integration scoping.
  • Work with CPaaS partners to activate and onboard new call centers.

5. Market Intelligence

  • Understand competitors like Retell AI, Talkdesk, Cognigy, and observe trends in voice automation.
  • Identify opportunities for new verticals (healthcare, logistics, insurance, retail).
  • Share insights to help refine pitch decks, pricing models, and GTM strategy.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–7 years of B2B SaaS / enterprise / CPaaS / AI tech sales experience.
  • Good understanding of APIs, cloud platforms, or communication systems.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience selling to CTOs, CIOs, engineering teams, and operations heads.
  • Ability to run structured discovery conversations.
  • CRM-savvy with strong pipeline discipline.
  • High urgency, fast learner, target-driven mindset.

Performance Indicators

  • Pipeline volume and quality.
  • SQL (Sales Qualified Lead) conversion rate.
  • Speed from discovery → demo → proposal.
  • Enterprise meeting bookings.
  • POC conversions.
  • Monthly and quarterly revenue impact.
