Organizational Elements Title: Business Development Lead Location: Delhi-NCR (mandatory) Overview & Purpose India On Track (IOT) is one of India’s leading sports management companies, which focuses on positively impacting the overall sports ecosystem. We are set up to inculcate a culture of sports amongst the youth through partnering with world-class sporting entities to bring best-in-class thinking and philosophy to India. Each partnership is a synergy of the mission, IOT’s extensive knowledge, experience, and expertise in the Indian market, and a focus on top global and regional rights holders to establish and grow their footprint in India. IOT collaborates with partners, clients, and stakeholders to contribute to the growth and development of sports in the country, as well as the advancement of various aspects within the sports ecosystem. This is achieved through improved implementation techniques, creation of bespoke properties and events, as well as operational and strategic planning to help leverage existing platforms. IOT is looking to appoint a Business Development Lead to drive growth and strengthen the network of clients. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong sales background, a proven track record in closing deals, and an existing network of brand connections. The candidate must identify new opportunities, build relationships with key stakeholders, drive revenue through new clients, and secure long-term partnerships. Roles & Responsibilities v Identification of potential clients for the company through thorough market research v Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to proactively identify new business opportunities and adapt strategies to stay ahead of the market v Leverage existing network to initiate and facilitate partnerships that align with the company’s goals. v Develop and deliver compelling pitches, proposals, and presentations tailored to client needs v Help lead negotiations and secure new clients to drive business growth v Act as the main point of contact for all client interactions, maintaining strong relationships with new clients v Build and maintain strong relationships with rights holders, brands, and other key stakeholders to identify and pursue new business opportunities v Regularly report to leadership on business development progress and projected revenue growth v Collaborate with internal teams to create strategic roadmaps for partnerships, ensuring seamless implementation and client satisfaction v Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to enhance visibility and create new opportunities. Requirements Education & Experience v Bachelor’s Degree v 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, and (preferably) client management within the sports, entertainment, or related sectors v Established network of connections with brands and corporate stakeholders v Proven ability to identify opportunities, pitch to clients, and close deals effectively v Experience in driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, and managing client relationships effectively Core Competencies v Excellent strategic thinking ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities v Strong relationships in the sports industry v Proven track record in driving business growth and managing end-to-end deal closures from prospecting to negotiation v Understanding of the dynamics of global and domestic sports industry partnerships v Firm grasp of Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint v Knowledge of basic economics, budgeting, and accounting principles & practices v Strong written and verbal communication skills v Excellent organizational management skills Show more Show less
