Role Overview

Video Editor

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw sports training footage into

  high-quality, engaging videos

  optimized for mobile apps and social media.
• Build

  product demo

  videos for presentation to key stakeholders
• Incorporate

  basic motion graphics, transitions, subtitles, and visual effects

  where needed.
• Design simple

  visual assets

  like social media thumbnails, banners, and covers when required.
• Ensure all content is

  formatted, compressed, and optimized

  for various platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Mobile App).
• Collaborate with trainers, coaches, and the content team to

  align videos with creative goals

  .
• Maintain

  consistent branding and style guidelines

  across videos and supporting visuals.
• Organize and manage video and design assets for

  easy access

  and future use.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education:

  Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film, Communications, or related field (preferred, but not mandatory).

• Experience:

  0–1 year of professional video editing experience (internships, projects, or freelance work are welcome).

• Primary Skills (Video Editing):

• Proficiency in software like

  Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

  .
• Understanding of

  video formats, codecs, compression, and social media video requirements

  .

• Secondary Skills (Graphic Design):

• Basic knowledge of

  Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva

  .
• Ability to design simple

  thumbnails, posters, and social media creatives

  .

• Soft Skills:

• Eye for detail and strong storytelling abilities.
• Collaborative mindset with openness to feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with

  sports training content

  or experience editing sports-related videos.
• Understanding of

  social media trends

  in the sports and fitness space.
• Basic sound design and color correction skills.
