Job Summary:

dynamic and results-driven Business Development Intern


Key Responsibilities (KRAs):

1. Sales & Business Growth

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth in academia, pharma, and industrial segments.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, networking, and partnerships.
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals.

2. Market Expansion & Customer Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence.
  • Participate in conferences, trade shows, and industry events to promote company products.

3. Product & Technical Knowledge

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Mtor Lifesciences' product portfolio and their applications.
  • Work closely with the

    Field Application Scientist (FAS) team

    to provide technical demonstrations and training to clients.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and provide feedback for new product development.

4. Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop business plans for market penetration and expansion strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional campaigns.
  • Analyse sales performance and provide strategic recommendations for business growth.

5. Key Account Management

  • Manage key accounts and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and long-term partnerships with clients.
  • Address customer concerns and ensure timely resolution of issues.

6. Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-ups.


Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education:

    Bachelor's/Master’s degree in

    Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related field

    .
  • Experience:

    Fresher
  • Skills:

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to understand and present technical/scientific concepts.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development.
  • Experience in CRM tools, MS Office, and sales reporting tools.
  • Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and industry events in     Delhi NCR
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
