Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive (BDE) to fuel the commercial growth of our in-house brands. You will be responsible for acquiring new clients for our full-service creative agency, The Little Text, and our technology and performance marketing arm, Kalinq. The ideal candidate is a natural networker with a talent for selling creative and technology services and a passion for helping businesses grow.


Key Responsibilities


  • Client Acquisition:

    Proactively identify, research, and engage prospective clients for TRD Studios and associated brands through strategic outreach and networking.
  • Service Articulation:

    Develop a deep understanding of our service offerings, effectively articulating the value of TRD Studios' bouquet of services.
  • Needs Analysis:

    Conduct thorough discovery calls with potential clients to understand their business challenges and goals, and position our services as the ideal solution.
  • Proposal Development:

    Collaborate with our internal teams to craft compelling proposals and presentations tailored to the needs of each prospective client.
  • Pipeline Management:

    Manage a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities using CRM software, ensuring meticulous tracking from initial contact to closing.
  • Negotiation & Closing:

    Lead contract negotiations and finalize agreements to successfully onboard new clients and drive revenue growth for both brands.
  • Market Intelligence:

    Stay informed on industry trends and the competitive landscape to continuously refine the sales strategy for our services.


Key Qualifications and Skills


  • Proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or Partnerships, specifically within a creative agency, marketing agency, or SaaS/tech company.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to understand and articulate both creative concepts and technical solutions.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive approach to building a client base.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
