Job Description

Role: Business Development Executive

Experience Preferred: 4-6 Years

Location: Pune



Client Acquisition & Sales:

  • Identify, target, and engage prospective clients in need of IT staffing services.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the client base.
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, market research, and attending industry events.


Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, ensuring consistent follow-ups and satisfaction.
  • Understand client requirements and provide suitable staffing solutions through collaboration with the recruitment team.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all client-related communications and escalations.


Account Management:

  • Manage existing accounts, upsell IT staffing services, and ensure client retention.
  • Ensure timely delivery of services and resolution of client concerns in coordination with the delivery/recruitment team.


Market & Competitor Analysis:

  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, market activities, and client preferences.
  • Provide feedback and insights to internal teams to refine service offerings and market positioning.


Collaboration with Internal Teams:

  • Work closely with recruiters, delivery managers, and leadership to ensure client requirements are met on time.
  • Participate in strategic planning, pricing discussions, and proposal development.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, HR, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • 4+ years of proven business development/sales experience in the

    IT staffing industry

    .
  • Strong network and connections with hiring managers, procurement, or HR professionals in IT companies.
  • Deep understanding of IT roles, technologies, and staffing lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools, MS Office, and business communication platforms.
