Role Overview:

Business Development Associate


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential customers, market segments, and strategic partnerships in the defense and security domain.
  • Conduct

    field-level engagements

    including on-ground visits, client demos, and product presentations at defense establishments, exhibitions, and training events.
  • Build and manage a network of

    channel partners

    , system integrators, and regional representatives to enhance market reach and service coverage.
  • Onboard, train, and support channel partners to effectively represent Paras Anti-Drone products and solutions.
  • Research tender opportunities, government procurement portals (e.g., GeM, MoD eProc, iDEX), and assist in bid preparation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in Indian Armed Forces, DRDO, DPSUs, and other government agencies.
  • Support in drafting proposals, technical presentations, capability briefs, and business communication.
  • Coordinate with internal technical teams to understand product offerings and develop tailored solutions for client requirements.
  • Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade shows, demos, and networking events.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging threats/opportunities in the C-UAS and defense technology space.
  • Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline reports, and business development dashboards.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering / business / Defense Studies or equivalent. MBA preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in defense sales, field operations, channel partner management, or business development preferred (freshers with strong motivation may also apply).
  • Understanding of defense procurement processes, tenders, and offset policies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital communication tools.
