Job Description

We seek a goal-focused and dynamic Business Development Associate to help generate and qualify leads, drive solution adoption, and support decision-makers in overcoming distribution and sales execution challenges


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:


  1. Generate and qualify B2B sales leads through multiple channels – Cold Calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach (Sales Navigator), networking, events, and referrals.
  2. Research and map FMCG/CPG target accounts, decision-makers, and key stakeholders (CXOs, Sales Heads, Distribution Managers).


  • Sales & Conversion


  1. Schedule and conduct discovery calls, demos, and product walkthroughs tailored to client needs.
  2. Negotiate and convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
  3. Send and follow up on proposals, quotations, and agreements to close deals.


Client Engagement & Retention:


  1. Build strong relationships with prospects and clients to ensure smooth on boarding and account expansion.
  2. Gather client feedback, identify upsell opportunities, and suggest product enhancements to the product team.


Market Intelligence:


  1. Stay updated on FMCG/CPG industry trends, distribution challenges, and competitors’ offerings.
  2. Share actionable insights with marketing and product teams to refine positioning and messaging.


Reporting & Analytics


  1. Maintain accurate lead, opportunity, and pipeline data in CRM.
  2. Prepare weekly/monthly sales performance reports and contribute to forecasting.


Desired Skills & Qualifications:


  1. Education: Graduate in Business, Marketing, or related discipline (MBA preferred).
  2. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B SaaS/ERP/CRM/SFA sales or business development.
  3. Domain Knowledge: Exposure to FMCG/CPG/Manufacturing sales processes (distribution, secondary sales etc.).


Skills:


  1. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  2. Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email automation tools.
  3. Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving approach.
  4. Ability to work with targets, deadlines, and under pressure.
  5. High energy, self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership.
