Job Description

As a Business Analyst in our leading software company, you will play a crucial role in gathering and analyzing business requirements to drive transformative projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Gathering and analyzing business requirements to understand and address the needs of stakeholders effectively. - Translating business needs into detailed functional specifications for development teams. - Utilizing your strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies to ensure smooth project execution. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, QA professionals, and business stakeholders. - Working with tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, and other relevant software to streamline project management processes. - Demonstrating excellent documentation and presentation skills to communicate project requirements clearly. - Applying problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to overcome challenges and deliver high-quality solutions. - Facilitating stakeholder discussions with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Taking a proactive approach to requirement gathering, conducting gap analysis, and making solution recommendations effectively. Qualifications required for this role include: - A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - At least 3 years of hands-on experience in business analysis or similar roles. - Proficiency in creating BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and other functional documentation. - Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Experience in translating business requirements into technical specifications. - Proficiency in tools like MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas), SQL for data analysis, and BI/reporting tools. - Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems such as Salesforce, Zoho, or Microsoft Dynamics. - Ability to support UAT and validate deliverables against requirements. - Strong analytical skills to interpret data and derive actionable insights. - Comfortable using project tracking tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar software. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder management. - Experience in working collaboratively in cross-functional teams and handling dynamic environments. - Exposure to automation tools like Zapier or Power Automate is a plus. - Basic knowledge of APIs, data flows, or system integration is preferred. - Bonus: familiarity with basic scripting languages like Python or R is an added advantage.
