Job Description

This role manages new business segments in Decorative Paints (Construction Chemicals, Commercial Flooring, Painting Tools, Ancillaries, etc. ) and leads marketing for export markets (Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan & Myanmar). You will build marketing strategies, manage product portfolios, handle product launches, and drive brand growth.

Responsibilities

  • Understand consumer needs and market trends.
  • Build strategic marketing plans for new segments and export markets.
  • Develop brand architecture, positioning, and pricing.
  • Create packaging designs that drive sales.
  • Lead cross-functional teams for product launches.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle from launch to phase-out.
  • Maintain a strong and healthy product portfolio across segments.
  • Identify new product opportunities.
  • Own the innovation and new product introduction (NPI) roadmap.
  • Conduct product health checks, SKU rationalisation and market analysis.
  • Develop traditional + digital campaigns for multiple countries.
  • Work with creative agencies for communication briefs, concepts, and production.
  • Measure campaign performance and share learnings.
  • Create sales tools such as demos, product guides, videos, etc.
  • Align communication with country marketing teams, PR, and digital teams.
  • Ensure all marketing work complies with internal policies, HSE, and sustainability guidelines.
  • Support communication for sustainability-led products and initiatives.
  • Work closely with multiple teams across countries.
  • Support performance management for country marketing teams.
  • Suggest improvements in marketing processes.
  • Creating strategies that give long-term competitive advantage.
  • Building strong communication assets that drive consumer conversion.
  • Managing multi-country marketing operations smoothly.
  • Proposing major innovation and communication initiatives.
  • Budget allocation for campaigns.
  • Setting priorities for segments and countries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (mandatory).
  • Master's Degree (preferred).
  • Brand management or product management experience.
  • Preferably in consumer goods, paints, construction materials, waterproofing, wood/metal care, or chemical categories.
  • Strong understanding of consumer journey, insights, and data-driven marketing.
  • Experience with market research, product launches, and cross-functional projects.
  • Strong marketing and business acumen.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Good communicator and team collaborator.
  • Ability to manage multi-market projects.
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven.
  • Influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Agility and comfort with ambiguity.
