Branch Manager – IT Training Centre, Nagercoil

Location

Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu (Branch of IT Desk)

Purpose of the Role

The Branch Manager will lead the Nagercoil training centre, driving its operational, financial and business development objectives. They will ensure high-quality delivery of training programmes (CCNA, Cyber Security, AWS, Python Full Stack, Web Development, Machine Learning, Data Science, Digital Marketing, MS Office, C/C++, Java, PHP, MEAN/MERN, Java Full Stack) and deliver an excellent student experience, while managing resources, staff and centre growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Sales
  • Develop and execute a branch-level business plan to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly/annual revenue targets for all training programmes.
  • Identify local market opportunities in and around Nagercoil for corporate tie-ups, student outreach, workshops, seminars, school/college alliances.
  • Drive student enrolments, marketing campaigns (online/offline), lead-conversion tracking and follow-up.
  • Monitor competitor activity in the region, suggest differentiators and implement key promotions.
  • Operations & Delivery
  • Oversee daily operations of the training centre: scheduling classes, managing batch sizes, trainer allocation, lab infrastructure, equipment, venue upkeep.
  • Ensure training quality: timely curriculum delivery, trainer performance, student feedback and satisfaction.
  • Maintain high standards of student care, troubleshooting student issues, ensuring retention.
  • Manage centre logistics: IT systems, software licences, lab computers, classroom AV, internet connectivity, safety & hygiene norms.
  • Team Leadership & HR
  • Recruit, train, coach and mentor the branch team: trainers, lab assistants, front-office staff, counsellors.
  • Set individual and team KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, reward good performers and manage under-performers.
  • Foster a positive work culture, promote collaboration, continuous learning and high morale.
  • Financial Management & Reporting
  • Prepare branch budget, monitor P&L for the centre—revenue, costs (rent, utilities, consumables, salaries, marketing).
  • Monitor monthly/quarterly performance against budget, take corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of enrolments, drop-outs, revenue per course, cost per student, ROI of marketing campaigns.
  • Provide timely reports to regional/head office as per Networkz Systems processes.
  • Quality, Compliance & Customer Experience
  • Uphold company policies, brand standards and training delivery standards of Networkz Systems.
  • Ensure compliance with any local regulatory requirements (education/training approvals, safety, fire etc) in Tamil Nadu.
  • Handle student feedback, complaints and escalations, ensure resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain the centre’s premises, ensure safety, cleanliness, and that facilities reflect a professional image.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, IT or a related discipline. (MBA is a plus) Indeed
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in branch operations/sales/centre management in education/training/IT domain, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role. Indeed+1
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales/enrolment targets, managing budgets and P&L.
  • Strong understanding of the IT training market, especially for courses like CCNA, AWS, Python, Web Dev, Digital Marketing etc (like what Networkz Systems offers).
  • Excellent leadership skills with ability to manage, motivate and develop a team. Manatal+1
  • Excellent communication skills in English and the local language (Tamil).
  • Proficient in MS Office, training management tools, CRM/lead-tracking software.
  • Strong analytical skills: able to interpret performance data, generate insights and drive corrective actions.
  • High degree of integrity, professionalism and student-centric mindset.
