Role & responsibilities Acquisition of Savings /Current account customers in the identified segment and reference generation from the specified catchment area Proactive registration and activation of acquired customers to direct banking channels Meet and exceed the defined targets of new customer acquisitions month on month by analyzing transaction banking needs of the customer Assist and support the Sales Manager in catchment mapping and scoping exercise Provide regular feedback to SM / RM on opportunities and customer needs Ensure adherence to selling norms and SOPs defined by the organization Ensure strict compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations Ensure quality sourcing in line with the Bank's policy
Role & responsibilities New Account Acquisition : The primary responsibility is acquiring new current and savings accounts from the branch's local catchment area or through corporate tie-ups. This often involves field visits, cold calling, and conducting micro-marketing activities to generate leads. Customer Relationship Management : Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. Achieving Sales Targets : Meeting or exceeding assigned daily/monthly/quarterly sales targets for the number and value of CASA accounts opened. Cross-selling Products : Identifying opportunities to sell other banking products based on customer needs, such as fixed/recurring deposits (RD/FD), insurance (life/general), mutual funds, mortgages, or credit cards. Account Activation and Maintenance : Ensuring new accounts are activated with initial funding and digital banking channels (e.g., UPI, mobile banking, net banking) are set up and used by the customer. Query Resolution : Acting as the initial point of contact for customer queries or issues and coordinating with internal branch teams to ensure prompt resolution.
