Support procurement team in quantifying material requirements . Liaise with vendors for rate collection, quotation comparisons, and delivery schedules (as needed). Documentation & Compliance Maintain estimation sheets, approved BOQs, variation records, and drawing logs. Assist in verifying contractor bills against actual work executed. Ensure drawings used at site are the latest revisions (coordinate with design team for updates). Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Execution & Site Management: Oversee the end-to-end construction of water supply and civil infrastructure, including intake wells, WTPs, OHTs, CWRs, pump houses, DI/HDPE pipelines 2.Planning & Resource Management: Plan and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment for efficient project execution. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure the timely availability of construction materials. Review and verify bar bending schedules (BBS), BOQ preparation, and DPR maintenance. 3.Quality Control & Compliance: Implement strict quality control measures to ensure adherence to project specifications. Conduct routine quality checks on construction materials, structural works, boundary walls, and pipeline installations 4. Stakeholder & Team Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and government agencies (Jal Nigam, PHED, SWSM). Conduct regular meetings with clients, contractors, and gram pradhans to address project challenges. 5. Civil Construction & Additional Infrastructure: Manage the construction of boundary walls, approach roads, staff quarters, pump house buildings, and other civil structures. Oversee the structural integrity and finishing of civil works, ensuring durability and compliance with safety norms. Education: B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a related field. Experience: Minimum 7+ years in construction management for water supply and civil infrastructure projects. Construction of WTPs, OHTs, CWRs, pump houses, DI/HDPE pipelines, boundary walls, staff quarters, and related structures Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and project scheduling tools. Strong knowledge of bar bending schedules (BBS), BOQs, and DPRs.
