JOB DESCRIPTION SITE ENGINEER (ROAD WORKS BILLING & PROJECT CONTROL)

Location: Project Site

Department: Engineering & Billing

Reporting To: Project Manager / Director

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare client billing, subcontractor billing, measurement books, and joint measurement sheets.
• Maintain BOQ tracking, consumption reports, and cost-to-complete analysis.
• Track project progress vs. plans; highlight deviations, delays, and resource shortages.
• Work closely with MIS team to update chainage-wise progress charts and productivity KPIs.
• Coordinate with survey, quality, and execution teams to ensure accurate billing quantities.
• Maintain documentation for audits, client reviews, and contractual compliance.

Required Skills

• Strong command over measurement techniques, IRC/MORTH specifications, BOQ, and billing software.
• Excellent Excel skills for billing abstracts, reconciliation sheets, and cost control.
• Good understanding of planning, scheduling, and project monitoring methodologies.

Qualification & Experience

• B.E. / Diploma (Civil Engineering)
• 2-5 years experience in road/highway projects, with solid exposure to billing & project control.
