Position: Manager Quantity Surveying (QS)
The required candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in QS department. Should have worked in Interior industry especially in Corporate Interior Projects.
The Job description is as below
- Review working drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), contracts & Subcontracts Bills, and specifications.
- Quantify materials required for projects and communicate with the concerned department regarding material indents.
- Calculate quantities from AutoCAD drawings and prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
- Execute project schedules and update project activities to the management.
- Calculate quantities of work completed or to be completed from working drawings.
- Gather inputs and maintain records of work in progress from Site Engineers.
- For non-tender items, ascertain the quantity of work done, conduct rate analysis, and submit through the Project Manager for client approval.
- Conduct material reconciliation for materials supplied and utilized at each project site.
- Monitor wastage in material usage and report accordingly.
- Inspect quality of work at site to ensure required progress is being met.
- Prepare and verify all bills related to projects.
- Ensure that received equipment and materials meet quality standards as per quantity specified.
- Manage closure processes for Running Account bills and Final Bills in accordance with contract agreements and work orders.
