Job Description

Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor (Civil)

Experience:

Job Summary

Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS – Civil)

Key Responsibilities

Prepare
BOQs, rate analysis, material take-offs
, and detailed cost estimates.
Manage
client billing, RA bills, final bills
, and certification.
Review and verify
subcontractor bills
as per site progress and contract terms.
Conduct
quantity reconciliation
for steel, concrete, shuttering, and other materials.
Maintain
cost control measures
and monitor project budgets.
Coordinate with
planning, execution, procurement
, and site teams for accurate quantities and progress updates.
Prepare
tender documents, technical specifications
, and assist in bid evaluation.
Support contract management, including
variation claims, change orders, and dispute resolution
.
Ensure compliance with
drawings, codes, and project standards
.
Prepare
MIS reports
, cost reports, and progress summaries for management.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of
civil engineering drawings, IS codes, BOQ preparation
, and cost estimation.
Hands-on experience with
Client & Contractor Billing
.
Proficiency in
Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Office
(knowledge of ERP systems is a plus).
Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail.
Strong communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications

BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
10–15 years of proven experience as a QS in the
construction / infrastructure
domain.
