Role Description

Azure DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

Design and Implement CI/CD Pipelines:
Architect, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (
CI/CD
) pipelines using
Azure DevOps
(Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans, Artifacts) for rapid and reliable software delivery.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Develop and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure using
Terraform
or
ARM templates
to ensure environments are consistent, repeatable, and version-controlled.
Azure Resource Management:
Provision, configure, and manage core Azure services, including
Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database,
and
Azure Networking
.
Configuration Management:
Implement and maintain configuration management tools like
Ansible
or
Chef/Puppet
for automated deployment and configuration of servers and applications.
Monitoring and Logging:
Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions (
Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics
) to ensure system health and performance.
Security and Compliance:
Apply security best practices, manage
Azure Key Vault
secrets, implement
Azure Policy
, and ensure compliance with industry standards across the infrastructure.
Collaboration and Mentorship:
Collaborate with development and operations teams to establish and promote DevOps best practices. Mentor junior team members on automation and cloud infrastructure skills.
Containerization and Orchestration:
Manage containerized applications using
Docker
and orchestrate them effectively on
Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
5+ years
of professional experience focusing on cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices.
Deep expertise in
Microsoft Azure
services and the
Azure DevOps
platform.
Proven hands-on experience with
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
tools such as
Terraform
or
ARM templates
.
Strong scripting skills (e.g.,
PowerShell, Bash, Python
) for automation tasks.
