As an Azure Data Engineer at Infinova in the UAE, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions on Microsoft Azure. Your collaboration with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers will ensure robust data pipelines and infrastructure to support our business intelligence and analytics initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and optimize large-scale data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Databricks. - Develop and manage data lakes and data warehouses on Azure to ensure high performance, availability, and reliability of data systems. - Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources using Azure services. - Implement and enforce data governance, data quality, and data security practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data engineering solutions. - Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues related to data workflows and storage. - Automate data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration processes. - Maintain documentation related to data models, processes, and infrastructure. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. - 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, with at least 2 years on Azure. - Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL Database. - Strong experience with SQL and Python or Scala. - Familiarity with big data tools such as Apache Spark, Databricks, or similar technologies. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git). - Experience with data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing concepts. - Strong understanding of cloud security and data privacy standards.,
