Job Summary

We are seeking a Engineer to join our team in the Automation.

This role will be responsible for :

• To schedule jobs or tasks as per plan given by Sr.Engr/Manager.
• Assembly and execution of jigs & fixtures and Automation for tooling & molding development related activities.
• To visit supplier site be it local, national or international and get involved during assembly and machine validation.
• Should be flexible to work in any shifts and different sites in case of requirement.

Main Responsibilities

• To ensure documentation, discipline and safety as per department/company/industry standards.
• To ensure assembly/debugging/grooming is executed according to time plans/schedules.
• Have good co-ordination and communication with CFT team.
• Planning and following up with planning team for completion of planned jobs as per plan.
• Project Monitoring and follow up skills.
• Conflict management skills.
• Knowledge on company objectives & Quality Objectives.
• Exposure to ISO/TS 16949 documentation.
• Exposure to EMS requirements and documentation.
• Awareness on 5S principles and application in respective areas.
• Knowledge of capabilities of measuring equipment’s like Profile projector, VMS.
• Understanding the assembly drawings, details drawings and the Product requirements.
• Using knowledge of Auto cad.
• Working knowledge of Pneumatic & servo elements.
• Working knowledge on PLC programming.
• Basic Knowledge of Machine Vision systems and Sensors.
• Knowledge on basic machining like Turning, Drilling, Milling and grinding.
• Exposure to PPAP.
• Knowledge of assembly techniques.
• Basic electrical wiring knowledge.
• Use of problem-solving tools like YY analysis, 7 QC tools.
• Interpersonal relationship (willingness to cooperate, honesty, fairness, team sprit).
• Communication (Body language, written and verbal, ability to be composed at levels of urgency).

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechatronics – 3-5 Years
