Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager / Assistant Business Development Manager to support and expand our sales operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in real estate and apartment sales, preferably within the geriatric or senior living sector, along with strong expertise in tender management, procurement coordination, and on-ground fieldwork. This role requires a blend of customer engagement, sales strategy, operational efficiency, and event coordination. 

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales for senior living communities and associated real estate offerings. 

• Manage end-to-end customer interactions - from lead generation to site visits, follow-ups, and closures. 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective residents, families, referral networks, and community partners. 

• Support the development of sales strategies, market positioning, and revenue plans. 

• Coordinate tenders and procurement processes: documentation, submission, vendor coordination, and compliance.

• Coordinate and support events, community engagements, and promotional activities to drive brand visibility and lead generation. 

• Track and analyse sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends. 

• Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, contracts, and sales reports. 

• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and customer success teams for seamless client onboarding. 

• Ensure high levels of professionalism, empathy, and communication - especially while engaging with senior clients and families. 

• Maintain a target-oriented approach, ensuring consistent achievement of monthly and quarterly goals. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field. 

• 2–5 years of experience in real estate sales (Experience in senior living/geriatric sector preferred). 

• Proven experience in tender handling, procurement coordination, and vendor management. 

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 

• Customer-centric approach with the ability to engage with senior citizens and families. 

• Experience in on-ground fieldwork and external stakeholder engagement. 

• Proficiency in MS Office. 

• Ability to meet sales targets and handle multiple projects simultaneously. 

• Strong presentation skills and attention to detail. 

• A proactive, disciplined, and target-driven mindset. 

Preferred Attributes

• Understanding of the senior living/retirement home market. 

• Experience conducting site visits, walkthroughs, and customer presentations. 

• Ability to coordinate events and promotional activities. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. 

• Willingness to travel as required.
