Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Rajkot for an Assistant Purchase Manager. The Assistant Purchase Manager will be responsible for assisting in managing the procurement process, evaluating supplier performance, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. Daily tasks include coordinating with the production team to understand material requirements and handling procurement documentation. The Assistant Purchase Manager will also work on maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Salary: 3.5L to 4.5L CTC PA

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Evaluation: Assess and qualify vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability.

Cost Analysis: Perform detailed cost analyses to identify the best procurement options within budget constraints while maintaining quality standards.

Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies, external regulations, and local purchasing standards, including preparing BOQs and executing purchases.

Order Management: Manage the entire ordering process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timeliness and accuracy. Implement emergency plans for purchasing critical items when necessary.

Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships and explore cost-saving opportunities.

Technical Liaison: Act as the point of contact between engineering departments and suppliers, ensuring technical specifications are met and resolving any issues that arise.
