Role & responsibilities Stay updated on emerging trends and the latest offerings and solutions in packing and packaging domains relevant to Plant lipids group. Focus on innovation and sustainable solutions that can become part of plant lipids group packing portfolio. Maintain optimum stock position and review safety stock positions every quarter to ensure zero cases of packing material stock out position. Ensure regulatory compliance for procured packaging products at all times and keep relevant documentation updated. Improve supply chain of high-volume packing materials with tight control over quality and delivery terms. Assist in managing packing portfolio across all manufacturing locations. Ensure process and SOP due diligence. Constantly improve terms and conditions and specifications to meet regulatory requirements as applicable. Conduct supplier assessments, supplier audits and evaluations periodically and record findings and systems. Build knowledge on certifications, 1PM / organic requirements and sustainability programs related to packing materials. Work with and through internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction. Study customer complaints and feedback related to packing and proactively address issues and find solutions to mitigate risks and complaints. Follow laid down SOPs related to procurement and align all workflows. Maintain records of all negotiations and purchases and timely reporting of data/ MIS. Maintain high levels of integrity, transparency and honesty in all work-related dealings. Exercise common sense, apply business acumen, financial acumen and analytical bent of mind at work.
