Job Description

Strategic Sourcing:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for indirect materials (MRO, consumables, tools, safety equipment, office supplies, etc.).
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
Supplier Management:
- Evaluate, select, and onboard suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or compliance.
Purchase Order Management:
- Ensure timely creation and approval of purchase orders in SAP.
- Track order status and expedite deliveries to avoid production delays.
Budget & Cost Control:
- Manage procurement budgets and ensure adherence to cost targets.
- Conduct regular spend analysis and implement cost reduction initiatives.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with maintenance, production, and finance teams to forecast requirements and align procurement plans.
- Support plant projects by sourcing required indirect materials and services.

Education & Work Background

Bachelor’s degree – Mechanical Engineering preferred. Minimum 5-years of experience in indirect procurement in automotive manufacturing industry
