Position: Assistant Manager – Purchase & Operations Company: Trionet Info Solutions Location: Trivandrum Experience: 3 years and above Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on experience & performance)

Job Overview

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Assistant Manager – Purchase & Operations to support our day-to-day purchasing and operational activities. The role involves working closely with vendors, internal teams, and management to ensure smooth operations and timely availability of materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor registration : Onboard new vendors as per company standards and maintain complete and accurate vendor records. Ensure yearly renewal and proper documentation of new OEM partner certificates.
  • Vendor management : Prepare and regularly update vendor documents. Maintain a good working relationship with vendors. Collect and compare prices from vendors, track product availability, and monitor regular price changes. issue purchase orders, and follow up to ensure timely delivery. Manage and coordinate with both existing and new vendors. Ensure timely and accurate payment is made to all vendors as per agreed terms.
  • Procurement: Identify the best vendors who offer quality materials at the lowest possible price and negotiate with them to secure the best deals. Create and share purchase orders with vendors, and coordinate closely to ensure timely collection and delivery of materials. Focus on cost control by continuously looking for ways to reduce expenses and improve value in every purchase. Ensure all purchased items meet the required quality and company standards before final approval
  • Store Management: Maintain the store in a clean and neat condition at all times. Regularly update records of material purchases and the physical stock available at the office. Conduct stock verification once every month. Prepare and submit the stock verification report to management with the support of the Operations Executive.
  • Coordinate delivery of materials ; Coordinate with the sales department to understand customer requirements and with technicians for site needs.Schedule material delivery as per the site requirements.Work closely with the Operations Executive to ensure smooth coordination. Ensure all activities are completed on time without any delay.
  • Register Handling: Maintain and regularly update all registers.Ensure purchase and sale product entries are recorded accurately as per company standard
  • Price list updation: Create and update the price list of product regularly and update the list and help sales department for get accurate pricing, Act as the first point of contact for internal teams regarding product pricing
  • Team Coordination: Ensure proper team coordination to meet customer requirements by working closely with the Sales and Service departments. Coordinate with the Finance department to ensure accurate and timely vendor payments, invoice to customers. Manage and guide the Operations Executive to ensure all operational activities are completed on time.
  • Handle documentation & regular reports : Create and maintain proper documentation of the operations process. Prepare and submit accurate reports to management to ensure the smooth functioning of the Operations Department.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in purchase and operations
  • Good communication, Negotiation and coordination skills
  • Basic knowledge of inventory and vendor management
  • Ability to handle documentation and reports
  • Organized, responsible, and team-oriented approach

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
