Job Description

The Assistant Manager – HR & Admin will be responsible for managing end-to-end human resources and administrative functions for the Ayurvedic cosmetic manufacturing operations. The role involves ensuring statutory compliance, effective workforce management, smooth administrative operations, and alignment of HR practices with company policies across locations.

Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources (HR)

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment including manpower planning, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Implement and maintain HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook
  • Handle employee life-cycle management (joining to exit)
  • Manage attendance, leave, payroll coordination, and statutory records
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws such as:
  • PF, ESI, Gratuity
  • Factory Act, Shops & Establishment Act
  • Contract Labour Act
  • Handle employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions
  • Conduct performance appraisals and assist in PMS implementation
  • Coordinate training & development programs, inductions, and skill development
  • Maintain HR MIS reports and dashboards

Administration & Facilities

  • Oversee day-to-day administrative operations at factory and office locations
  • Manage vendors for housekeeping, security, transport, canteen, and facility services
  • Ensure smooth functioning of office infrastructure and factory facilities
  • Handle asset management, inventory records, and office supplies
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, and logistics for employees and management
  • Support audits (internal, statutory, ISO, GMP, AYUSH, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and workplace regulations

Coordination & Reporting

  • Act as a liaison between management and employees
  • Coordinate HR & Admin activities between Kerala and Ahmedabad units
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management
  • Support HR budgeting and cost control initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • MBA / MSW / PGDM in HR or Personnel Management
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (mandatory)

Experience Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in HR & Admin
  • Prior experience in manufacturing industry (Ayurvedic / FMCG / Pharmaceutical / Cosmetic preferred)
  • Experience handling factory HR and statutory compliance

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
