Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Manager – Human Resources Location: Ahmedabad  Department: Human Resources Reports To: HR Manager / HR Head Employment Type: Full-time ______________ Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager – HR to support and drive HR initiatives across key functional areas. The ideal candidate will assist in talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, performance management, and policy implementation. This role requires a people-oriented professional who can contribute to building a positive and productive work environment. ______________ Key Responsibilities: • Recruitment & Onboarding: o Assist in workforce planning and end-to-end recruitment. o Manage onboarding and induction programs for new hires. • Employee Engagement & Relations: o Support the design and execution of employee engagement activities. o Handle grievance redressal and ensure smooth employee relations. • Performance Management: o Support the annual/bi-annual performance appraisal process. o Assist in implementation of KPIs and performance improvement plans. • Learning & Development: o Coordinate and track employee training and development programs. o Work with L&D team to identify skill gaps and training needs. • HR Operations: o Maintain HRIS and employee records. o Ensure timely processing of payroll inputs, attendance, and leaves. • Compliance & Policy Management: o Ensure adherence to labor laws and internal policies. o Assist in audits and compliance documentation. ______________ Required Qualifications & Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred) • 4–6 years of relevant HR experience • Strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills • Proficiency in MS Office and HR software (e.g., SAP, Workday, Zoho People) ______________ Desirable Attributes: • Team player with a proactive and approachable attitude • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity • Experience in HR analytics or digital HR tools is a plus
