Job Description

As an Assistant Manager - HR with mandatory experience in the Oil and Gas industry, you will be based in BKC, Mumbai. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage all HR functions to support the business operations within the Oil and Gas sector. This includes developing and implementing HR strategies and policies that are in line with the business objectives. You will be overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for both technical/field and office roles. Additionally, you will collaborate with line managers to drive performance management and succession planning within the organization. Ensuring compliance with RPSL, labor laws, safety regulations, and industry-specific guidelines will be a key aspect of your role. You will also be responsible for managing industrial relations, resolving complex employee issues and grievances, and leading training and development initiatives focused on operational excellence and safety. Designing a competitive compensation and benefits package tailored to field and office personnel, supporting organizational change initiatives, and driving employee wellbeing are also part of your responsibilities. Maintaining effective HR records, data-driven HR reporting, and supervising HR teams across multiple sites or project locations will be essential tasks. Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree, preferably with a Master's in Human Resource Management or a related field. A minimum of 12 years of HR experience, including 3-5 years in a senior HR role, is required. Strong knowledge of labor laws, industrial relations, excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills are essential. Hands-on experience with SAP HR/Success Factor will be advantageous. Your experience managing compliance with DG Shipping regulations and overseeing RPSL Audits will be crucial for this role. The job is full-time and permanent, requiring in-person work at the designated location.
