Job Description

About the Role:

We’re looking for a dynamic individual to support our Buying, merchandising and cross-functional project management initiatives. This role is perfect for someone who’s detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to learn the ropes of managing product lifecycles, vendor coordination, and executional excellence in a fast-paced D2C environment.

You’ll work closely with design, sourcing, marketing, and operations teams to ensure timely product launches and seamless cross-departmental alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

Product & Merchandising Coordination:

  • Support seasonal range planning and assortment finalization.
  • Maintain product master sheets and ensure timely updates on pricing, SKU codes, and inventory.
  • Track product lifecycle milestones — from sampling to production to launch.

Vendor & Production Management:

  • Coordinate with vendors and factories on sampling, approvals, and timelines.
  • Follow up on order execution, packaging specs, and dispatch schedules.

Project Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Create and manage timelines for key merchandising and marketing projects.
  • Track progress against deadlines, flag delays, and coordinate follow-ups with internal teams.
  • Support new product development (NPD) by aligning cross-functional milestones.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain trackers for ongoing projects and report weekly progress.
  • Assist in preparing data for internal reviews and seasonal line presentations.

Desired Skills & Attributes:

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong command over Excel, Google Sheets, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, or Monday).
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management and follow-up discipline.
  • Understanding of product development cycles and fashion merchandising basics.
  • Ability to multitask across projects and work with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from NIFT, Pearl Academy, or other premier fashion/business institutes.
  • 0–2 years of work experience in merchandising, production, or project management (internships included)
  • Passion for apparel, fashion, or consumer products with an analytical and execution-driven mindset.

What You’ll Gain:

  • Hands-on exposure to D2C fashion business operations.
  • Mentorship across merchandising, supply chain, and project execution.
  • Opportunity to grow into a full-fledged Merchandiser or Category Manager role within the organization.
