Assistant Buyer

As a Procurement Officer at our company, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials from local and overseas vendors. Your main duties will include evaluating vendor quotations, ensuring they meet project specifications, and advising both internal and external stakeholders on purchasing Terms & Conditions. You will also handle daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing, and tracking Purchase Orders, as well as resolving any supply, quality, service, or invoicing issues with vendors. Moreover, you will play a key role in implementing internal procurement strategies to meet high delivery and short lead time requirements. Additionally, you may be required to undertake ad-hoc duties as assigned and should be willing to travel to suppliers" locations for expediting activities.
