Job Title:

Role Overview:

Area Sales Manager

This position requires a strategic sales mindset, strong relationship-building abilities, and a deep understanding of healthcare procurement processes, particularly within government and institutional frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote and sell simulation products to hospitals, medical colleges, and nursing institutions.
Conduct product demonstrations and technical sales presentations.
Manage the sales process from lead initiation to deal closure, including post-sale support.
Ensure product specifications are incorporated into tenders.
Handle government tenders and institutional procurement procedures.
Collaborate with regional and national sales teams, as well as technical support staff.
Monitor and report market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

BE in Biomedical / Medical Engineering / Bioengineering, OR
B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field.

Experience:

2–5 years of experience in medical equipment sales.
Mandatory experience in
government procurement
.
Exposure to
high-value capital equipment
(preferably medical devices).

Required Skills:

Goal-oriented with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong presentation and interpersonal abilities.
Basic proficiency in MS Word and Excel; experience with CRM tools is an advantage.
Ability to understand and explain technical and clinical concepts clearly.
