This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Hub Manager located in Mohpa. The Assistant Hub Manager will oversee daily operations at the hub, ensuring that all processes align with company standards for quality, hygiene, and efficiency. Responsibilities include managing inventory, supervising staff, coordinating with the supply chain team, monitoring product quality, optimizing workflow, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
o Manage a team of 100+ riders and 30+ hub crew, including packers and support staff.
o Drive team performance through training, coaching, and development programs.
o Ensure smooth operations at the hub by implementing and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
o Optimize resources to achieve cost and time efficiency in last-mile deliveries.
o Analyze operational metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
o Create and present regular performance reports, highlighting key metrics.
o Proficient in Kannada, Hindi, and English to communicate effectively with ground staff and higher management.
o Address rider and hub crew concerns, ensuring a harmonious work environment.
o Ready to relocate across Bangalore as per business requirements.
o Open to learning and adapting to new systems, technologies, and processes.
o Lead by example to motivate the team and resolve conflicts efficiently.
o Ensure high service levels through proactive problem-solving and contingency planning.
o Enforce safety standards and compliance at the hub and during deliveries.
o Monitor adherence to company policies and local regulations.
o Oversee timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer expectations.
o Address escalations and complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction.
o Recruit and onboard riders, packers, and hub staff efficiently to meet operational demands if required.
o Conduct interviews, training, and orientation sessions for new hires.
