What You’ll Do

Data Modeling & Transformation:

Build, maintain, and optimize data models in dbt and Snowflake. Ensure data accuracy, scalability, and reusability through best practices in modular SQL and documentation.

ELT Pipeline Development:

Design and implement ELT workflows that extract, load, and transform data from various sources into analytics-ready tables and views.

Data Quality & Governance:

Establish validation tests and data monitoring within dbt to ensure data consistency, lineage, and reliability across environments.

Collaboration with Data & Business Teams:

Work closely with data engineers and analysts to define business metrics, model raw data into meaningful structures, and optimize queries for performance.

BI Tools & Analytics Applications:

Support teams in creating dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Translate structured data into actionable insights that help business stakeholders make informed decisions.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain detailed documentation of transformations, models, and dependencies. Support teams with accessible and well-structured data for dashboards and analytics.

Required Skills & Experience

• Data Modeling & Transformation:

  3-6 years of experience

  in analytics engineering or related roles.
• SQL & dbt: Strong proficiency in writing complex

  SQL

  queries and using

  dbt

  for transformation, testing, and documentation.
• Data Warehousing: Hands-on experience with

  Snowflake

  , BigQuery, or Redshift.
• ELT Pipelines: Experience in designing and maintaining automated ELT workflows.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git for collaborative development and model management.
• Data Visualization Exposure: Basic understanding of

  BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to support analytics workflows.

Soft Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English for collaboration with remote teams and international clients.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and collaborative mindset with strong ownership of deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Airflow, or other orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with modern data stack tools (Fivetran, Stitch, Snowpipe, etc.).
• Experience working with offshore or international clients.
