Analytics Engineer

As a Java or Golang Developer with experience in API development, you will play a crucial role in the intersection of banking and analytics. Your responsibilities will include diving deep into the banking domain to define metrics and implementing them using technical expertise. You will work on a next-generation analytics product aimed at helping banks enhance the financial wellness of their clients. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Analytics as part of the Zafin Product Team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing insights through data visualization tools and applying analytics expertise to drive impact. - Collaborate with Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify and define relevant metrics for financial services. - Develop complex data models for data integration and aggregation. - Design and implement data visualization and reports based on user needs and available data. - Work closely with the Data Engineering team to automate metric calculations. - Coach and mentor Data Analysts on best practices for data visualization. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. - Ability to decompose complex business objectives into calculable and reportable metrics. - Proficient in writing efficient SQL scripts for computing metrics and dashboards. - Strong understanding of data modeling techniques and software engineering principles applied to analytics code. - Proficiency in modern BI tools and data visualization. - Experience in Python for data analysis. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively. - Detail-oriented with strong prioritization skills and proactive learning attitude.
