Amazon Fulfilment Associate – Job Description (USA & Canada Stores)

Role Overview

The Amazon Fulfilment Associate is responsible for managing and optimizing Fulfilled-by-Amazon operations across the US and Canada marketplaces. This role ensures smooth inventory flow, accurate listings, compliance with Amazon policies, and continuous improvement of sales performance. The specialist works closely with operations, logistics, catalog, and marketing teams to drive growth and maintain operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. FBA Inventory Management

  • Plan, create, and manage FBA shipments for US and Canada warehouses from vendors
  • Monitor FBA inventory levels (Inbound, Available, Reserved, Excess, Aged Inventory).
  • Maintain optimal stock levels to avoid OOS (out-of-stock) and excess storage fees.
  • Track shipment status, discrepancies, and reconcile inventory issues.
  • Handle stranded, suppressed, or reserved inventory cases.

2. Listing Management & Optimization

  • Create and update product listings with accurate titles, images, attributes, and bullet points.
  • Ensure catalog consistency between USA and Canada stores.
  • Optimize listings based on keyword research, competitor analysis, and category requirements.
  • Maintain variation listings and fix parent-child issues.
  • Resolve listing errors, contributions conflicts, and image suppression issues.

3. Compliance & Policy Management

  • Ensure all FBA SKU requirements meet Amazon compliance for USA and Canada (packaging, labelling, prep requirements).
  • Maintain documentation for safety data sheets (SDS), compliance certificates, and brand registry.
  • Stay updated with Amazon’s ongoing policy changes for both marketplaces.
  • Manage hazmat approvals, dangerous goods classification, and storage limitations.

4. Shipment Creation & Logistics Coordination

  • Prepare carton-level details, box contents, and labeling for FBA shipments.
  • Coordinate with 3PL warehouses, carriers, and prep centers.
  • Review freight charges, optimize shipping costs, and plan replenishment cycles.
  • Ensure shipments are created with correct routing preferences and ASIN compliance.

5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor key metrics (BSR, buy box %, FBA fees, storage fees, session & conversion rate).
  • Track profitability of FBA SKUs and optimize pricing strategies.
  • Analyze FBA inventory age, long-term storage fees, and recommend liquidation or removal orders.
  • Prepare weekly sales, inventory, and performance reports for management.

6. Case Management & Problem Resolution

  • Open and handle Seller Central cases for listing issues, shipment discrepancies, brand registry updates, and FBA claims.
  • Follow up with Amazon support until full resolution.
  • Manage reimbursements for lost/damaged inventory.

7. Advertising Coordination (Optional depending on company)

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure FBA ASINs are eligible and optimized for PPC campaigns.
  • Review of performance impact of advertising on FBA sales.
  • Provide inventory forecasts based on ad-driven velocity.

8. Cross-Marketplace Sync (US/CA)

  • Ensure pricing, titles, and content are aligned between US and Canada where applicable.
  • Manage currency-based pricing strategies and fees calculations.
  • Handle marketplace-specific compliance (e.g., bilingual requirements for Canada when needed).

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central (US & CA).
  • Experience with FBA workflow, policies, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, inventory reports, and profitability.
  • Knowledge of ecommerce tools: Helium10, Keepa, Jungle Scout, GS1, Excel/Google Sheets, etc.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Must be fluent in writing and speaking English and able to communicate clearly in a business environment
  • Attention to detail for catalog accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience managing FBA for US/Canada.
  • Experience working with high-volume SKUs and multiple categories.
  • Familiarity with logistics, supply chain, and prep centers.
  • Strong understanding of compliance: hazmat, SDS, Amazon packaging requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
