Job Description

Job Title: Procurement & Admin Executive Department: Procurement & Administration Industry: Construction Location: : #18, 1st Floor, Aditya Nagar, Next to SBI Bank, Unnikrishnan Road, Vidyaranyapura Post, Bangalore - 560097 Reports To: Project Manager / Operations Head Key Responsibilities Procurement: -Identify, evaluate, and select vendors/suppliers for materials, tools, and services specific to construction needs. -Obtain competitive quotations and negotiate terms of purchase (price, delivery, payment terms). -Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and standards. -Ensure timely delivery of materials to various project sites. -Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other essential procurement data. -Monitor inventory levels and forecast future needs to avoid shortages or delays. -Coordinate with the project/site team to understand daily/weekly material requirements. -Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness. Administration: -Manage and maintain office infrastructure, stationery, and other supplies. -Ensure smooth functioning of office equipment and coordinate with service providers. -Handle facility management tasks including housekeeping, security, repairs, and maintenance. -Assist in managing travel arrangements, hotel bookings, and logistics for staff/site teams. -Maintain documentation, filing systems, and administrative records as per audit standards. -Liaise with local authorities for licenses, permissions, or compliances when required. -Coordinate with HR for administrative onboarding of site-based employees (ID cards, SIM cards, etc.). -Oversee support staff (drivers, office boys, etc.) and monitor their attendance and work allocation. Key Skills & Competencies -Strong negotiation and vendor management skills -Good knowledge of local construction material markets and suppliers -Excellent documentation and record-keeping -Strong organizational and multitasking skills -Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) -Good written and verbal communication in English and local language -telecalling to customers. Qualifications & Experience -Graduate in any discipline (Bachelor’s in Commerce/Business preferred) -Minimum 2+years experience in procurement and administration, preferably in construction or infrastructure industry -Knowledge of construction material specifications and industry procurement standards is an advantage Additional Requirements -Should be flexible with work timings based on site or project needs -Should be able to travel to vendor locations and project sites when required -Should adhere to company policies, ethical procurement practices, and documentation standards Note: incentives applicable for sales conversion.
