Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist senior management and the Admin In-Charge in day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of the office and compliance with company policies and regulations.

2. Support the preparation and management of documentation, including reports, memos, meeting minutes, and other related materials.

3. Help organize and schedule meetings, conferences, and appointments for management and staff.

4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for employees, vessels, and operational documents, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

5. Assist in procurement processes, including maintaining inventory of office supplies and equipment, ensuring resource availability.

6. Handle phone calls, emails, and general inquiries in a professional and timely manner, providing support to both internal teams and external clients.

7. Support HR functions, including employee onboarding, maintaining personnel records, and assisting with payroll processing and other HR-related tasks.

8. Assist in coordinating the implementation of company policies, procedures, safety standards, and compliance with relevant labour laws.

9. Contribute to fostering a positive and productive work environment by supporting team members, ensuring collaboration, and addressing operational challenges.

10. Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management, providing relevant insights on administrative operations and performance metrics.

11. Support senior management and the Admin In-Charge with administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • MBA in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Basic understanding of HR practices, office management, and general business operations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and able to adapt in a fast-paced industry.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

  • Experience with HR management software or maritime industry knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
