Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Accounts Manager to lead and oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and team management. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in accounting standards, financial control, audits, taxation, and process improvement, with proven experience managing end-to-end accounts functions in a mid to large-scale organization. Key Responsibilities 1. Accounting & Financial ManagementManage and supervise all day-to-day accounting operations. Ensure accurate and timely posting of journals, ledgers, and reconciliations. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow management, and general ledger. Review monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Ensure compliance with IND-AS / IFRS accounting standards. 2. Statutory Compliance & TaxationHandle GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI, and other statutory returns. Liaise with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and government authorities. Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Support audit planning, documentation, and timely closure of audit issues. 3. Budgeting & ForecastingPrepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis. Provide insights for cost optimization and financial performance improvement. Monitor financial KPIs and highlight deviations. 4. Internal Controls & Process ImprovementsImplement strong internal controls to improve financial accuracy and reduce risks. Identify gaps in existing accounting processes and drive continuous improvements. Ensure adherence to SOPs and corporate financial policies. 5. Team LeadershipManage and mentor the accounts team; allocate responsibilities and review performance. Train team members on accounting best practices, systems, and tools. Build a high-performing and compliant finance team. 6. Coordination & Stakeholder Management Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Operations, Procurement, Sales). Support management with financial insights and decision-making data. Provide timely MIS reports to senior leadership.
