Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Accounts Executive – Collections to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in managing receivables and collections, excellent communication skills for client follow-ups, and a solid understanding of Power BI for data visualization and reporting. This role is critical to ensuring healthy cash flow, timely collections, and providing management with actionable insights through analytics. --- Key Responsibilities: Collections & Accounts Receivable Manage end-to-end collections process including follow-ups with clients, payment reminders, and escalations. Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely recovery of dues. Maintain accurate customer ledgers and reconciliation of accounts. Prepare and share aging reports and collection status updates with management. Handle client queries and disputes related to invoices and payments. Reporting & Analysis (Power BI) Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI to track collection performance, receivables aging, and payment trends. Provide actionable insights through data analytics to improve collection efficiency. Automate recurring reports and improve reporting accuracy using Power BI. Coordination & Compliance Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to resolve billing/payment issues. Ensure compliance with internal policies and statutory regulations. Support internal and external audits with relevant AR/collection data. --- Key Skills & Competencies: Strong experience in accounts receivable & collections (minimum 5 years). Proficiency in Power BI (dashboard creation, DAX, data modeling). Knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliation, and reporting. Excellent communication & negotiation skills for dealing with clients. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under deadlines. --- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field. Certification/knowledge in Microsoft Power BI will be an added advantage. Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software
