Job Description

Profile Overview:

The Accounts & Compliance Manager will oversee end-to-end accounting operations, statutory compliances, banking, and financial reporting for the company. This includes TDS, GST, PT, payroll statutory returns, ITR filings, daily bank reconciliations, vendor payments, and import/export documentation. The role requires strong knowledge of taxation, statutory frameworks, and accounting systems, along with hands-on coordination with banks, auditors, consultants, and internal teams. The ideal candidate should work independently, ensure accurate financial records, and maintain strict compliance with deadlines.


Key Roles & Responsibilities – Thriarr Polymers Pvt. Ltd. (Subsidiary of Hitech Corporation Ltd.)


  1. Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, ledger management, and monthly book closures.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and compliance with Ind AS, Companies Act, and corporate policies.
  3. Manage statutory and internal audits, ensuring minimal observations and timely resolution of audit queries.
  4. Handle statutory compliances including TDS, GST, PT, PF, ESIC, MLWF, and support income tax return filings.
  5. Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, monitor budget vs. actuals, analyze variances, and provide corrective insights.
  6. Manage banking operations, including daily reconciliations, bank stock statements, and import/export-related documentation.
  7. Administer payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and related statutory payments.
  8. Ensure accurate booking and timely payment of vendor invoices, utilities, and statutory dues.
  9. Oversee import/export documentation, BRC realization, ECGC/Plex Council returns, and foreign payment compliance.
  10. Prepare and present monthly MIS reports, financial summaries, and provide support to auditors and management.


Educational Qualification:

• Semi-qualified CA / CMA.

• Additional certifications in GST / Taxation / Tally / ERP are advantageous.


Work Experience:

• 5–8 years in accounting, statutory compliance, and banking operations.

• Experience in manufacturing/trading/export-import companies desirable.

• Hands-on expertise in TDS, GST, PF, ESIC, PT, MLWF, ITR, and payroll.

• Familiarity with import/export documentation, BRC realization, ECGC, Plex council returns.

• Strong track record in daily bank reconciliation, vendor payments, and cash handling.


Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Tally ERP / Zoho Books / or similar accounting software.

• Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Reconciliations).

• Knowledge of banking portals, payment gateways, and online return filing systems.

• Up-to-date understanding of Indian taxation laws and statutory compliance deadlines.
