Job Description

🔹 Core Accounting ResponsibilitiesRecording Financial Transactions Maintain accurate records of all business transactions (sales, expenses, assets, liabilities). Preparing Financial Statements Create balance sheets, income statements (profit & loss), and cash flow statements. Managing Accounts Payable and Receivable Track incoming payments and ensure timely outgoing payments to vendors. Bank Reconciliation Reconcile bank statements with internal records to ensure accuracy. General Ledger Maintenance Maintain and review the general ledger to ensure proper recording of financial transactions. 🔹 Budgeting and ForecastingBudget Preparation Assist in the creation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Variance Analysis Compare budgeted vs. actual results and explain variances. 🔹 Tax and ComplianceTax Preparation and Filing Prepare and file tax returns (corporate, VAT, GST, etc.) in compliance with laws. Compliance and Regulation Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies. 🔹 Audit and Internal ControlsSupport for Audits Provide documentation and support to internal/external auditors. Implement Internal Controls Help design and monitor internal controls to prevent errors and fraud. 🔹 Other ResponsibilitiesPayroll Processing Handle or assist with employee payroll calculations and disbursements. Financial Analysis Analyze financial data to support decision-making. Reporting Prepare financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies. Software Usage Use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, Xero) efficiently.
