Job Description

Key Responsibilities:1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts.
  • Record all daily financial transactions including receipts, payments, and journal entries.
  • Perform bank reconciliation and verify balances regularly.
  • Manage cash flow and petty cash.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

2. Billing & Invoicing

  • Oversee patient billing, departmental sales invoices, and credit note entries.
  • Coordinate with departments for E-way bill generation and invoice submission.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely posting of all revenue and expense transactions.

3. Taxation & Compliance

  • Handle TDS calculation, payment, and e-filing within deadlines.
  • Manage GST filing, input reconciliation, and returns.
  • Prepare and file ESI, PF, and other statutory returns as per government norms.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and audit requirements.

4. Financial Reporting

  • Prepare profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and expense analysis reports.
  • Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation.
  • Provide monthly MIS reports to management for financial decision-making.
  • Analyze financial trends and suggest cost-saving opportunities.

5. Payroll & Vendor Management

  • Process employee salary, deductions, and reimbursements.
  • Maintain records for ESI, PF, and professional tax.
  • Manage vendor accounts, verify bills, and ensure timely payments.

6. Coordination & Support

  • Coordinate with departments for financial data collection and budget planning.
  • Support hospital management in financial projections and budget preparation.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial data and transactions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in accounting, preferably in healthcare or service industry.
  • Skills Required:
  • Proficiency in Tally / Zoho Books / MS Excel
  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory filings
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
