Job Description

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting Maintain and update daily financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks). Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow). Perform monthly bank reconciliations and manage petty cash. 2. Accounts Payable & Receivable Receivables: Issue invoices to clients, track payment timelines, and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure healthy cash flow. Payables: Process vendor invoices (raw materials like paper, ink, and machinery maintenance) and ensure timely payments. 3. Costing & Inventory Management Track production costs for custom packaging orders to ensure healthy profit margins. Coordinate with the production team to monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods. Analyze "Cost of Goods Sold" (COGS) to help management optimize pricing strategies. 4. Tax & Statutory Compliance Handle GST filings (GSTR-1, 3B, 9) and ensure reconciliation with GSTR-2A/2B. Manage TDS/TCS deductions and filings. Ensure all business operations comply with local financial laws and labor regulations. 5. Budgeting & Audit Assist in preparing annual budgets and departmental forecasts. Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits and tax assessments. Required Skills & Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (M.Com or CA Inter preferred). Experience: 2–5 years of experience, ideally in manufacturing, printing, or an e-commerce agency setup. Software: Proficiency in Tally Prime, Microsoft Excel (Advanced), and cloud-based accounting tools. Knowledge: Deep understanding of GST, TDS, and General Accounting Principles (GAAP). Traits: Strong analytical skills, high integrity, and the ability to explain financial data to non-finance team members.
