Accountant/ Accounts Executive

Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Executive who can efficiently handle day-to-day accounting operations, manage inventory records, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Tally ERP / accounting software and inventory control in a retail and wholesale environment. Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Finance: Maintain daily accounting entries including sales, purchases, expenses, and payments. Reconcile bank statements, vendor ledgers, and customer accounts. Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances. Prepare and maintain financial reports, invoices, and supporting documents. Assist in monthly and annual financial closing. Inventory Management: Track and update inventory levels in software. Monitor stock movement across retail and warehouse locations. Conduct regular stock audits and investigate discrepancies. Coordinate with the store and warehouse teams for accurate inward/outward entries. Maintain records for expiry dates, stock valuation, and product batches. Coordination & Reporting: Work closely with the sales and procurement teams for stock and billing accuracy. Generate reports on sales, stock, and purchase performance. Support management in data analysis and decision-making. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. 2–4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in retail or trading firms. Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and inventory software. Knowledge of GST filing, purchase/sales reconciliation, and stock management. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
