Role Overview: Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and highly skilled Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial systems. You will work closely with the leadership team to support data-driven decision-making, strengthen internal controls, and contribute to the company’s financial strategy. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a global, fast-expanding agritech organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date financial records, including journals, ledgers, and supporting documentation.

• Process vendor invoices, customer payments, employee reimbursements, and receipts within defined timelines.

• Manage payroll processing and ensure strict compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other applicable regulations.

• Reconcile bank accounts, vendor statements, and financial records on a monthly basis.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

• Assist in developing and monitoring budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

• Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring adherence to regulatory and corporate compliance standards.

• Collaborate with management to streamline and optimize financial workflows, systems, and controls.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.

Requirements

Educational Qualification

• M.Com (Finance) or CA Inter

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 experience in multinational company or export-oriented industry.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and familiarity with international financial and reporting practices.

• Hands-on experience using SAP, or similar ERP platforms.

• In-depth understanding of taxation, transfer pricing, export documentation, and statutory compliance.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.

• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
