Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Accounts Executive to join our finance & accounts team in our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and support financial reporting in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain books of accounts: record daily transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments) in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP) and ensure accuracy.
• Handle accounts payable & accounts receivable: process vendor invoices, track and coordinate payments, follow up on receivables from customers.
• Bank & ledger reconciliations: perform regular bank reconciliations, match ledger entries, investigate and rectify discrepancies.
• Assist in cost accounting / inventory cost tracking: liaise with production/inventory team to record material usage, labour and overheads; support cost analysis relevant to manufacturing operations.
• Statutory compliance: assist in preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and other regulatory returns as applicable; maintain documentation for audit purposes.
• Monthly & periodic reporting: help prepare basic MIS reports, profit & loss statements, expense analysis, and provide data to senior finance staff.
• Fixed assets / depreciation: maintain fixed asset register, compute depreciation, ensure proper recording of additions/disposals.
• Support audits: assist internal/external auditors by providing required records, reconciliations, schedules and explanations.
• Other ad hoc tasks: support the finance & accounts manager with any ad-hoc financial/ accounting tasks as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
• Minimum ~1 year of experience in accounting role (preferably in manufacturing or industrial unit).
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP) and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Basic understanding of GST, TDS, statutory compliance and manufacturing cost concepts.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
• Good communication skills (English and Tamil), ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work at the manufacturing site, coordinate with production/inventory teams.
