Academic Manager

Academic Coordination & Daily Operations

• Directly manage and coordinate with three online and one offline academic coordinator, ensuring smooth daily academic operations, updates, and accurate reporting.
• Monitor and verify batch scheduling, admission tracking, batch allocation, and faculty assignment across all language departments.
• Ensure all academic coordinators maintain real-time tracking of batch status, faculty logs, attendance, and student feedback.

Faculty Recruitment & Management

• Conduct interviews and lead faculty hiring processes for German, IELTS, OET, and PTE departments.
• Oversee faculty onboarding, assign induction tasks, and ensure academic readiness before batch commencement.
• Evaluate faculty performance through student feedback, demo observations, and audits, and provide timely feedback and support.

Batch Commencement & Execution

• Ensure timely commencement and quality assurance of all online and offline batches through coordination with academic coordinators.
• Supervise the technical readiness, batch onboarding procedures, and classroom resources required for each course.
• Address any challenges in class operation and resolve them promptly with coordinators and faculty.

Student Engagement & Support

• Take charge of orientation sessions, webinars, demo classes, and academic guidance programs for new and ongoing students.
• Be the academic point of contact for escalated student queries or grievances and ensure resolution with a student-first approach.
• Facilitate progress reviews, doubt-clearing sessions, and special academic events to foster student learning outcomes.

Curriculum Development & Innovation

• Oversee the creation, revision, and enhancement of all course curriculums, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
• Ensure that learning materials, teaching methodology, and assessments are up to date and aligned with student needs.
• Introduce innovative ideas, activity-based learning methods, and structured implementation plans to keep the academic delivery engaging.

Training & Development Programs

• Design and deliver regular training programs for faculty and academic coordinators, focusing on upskilling, methodology improvement, and classroom management.
• Organize review sessions, academic roundtables, and performance assessments for the academic team.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work in close association with the Sales and CRM teams to ensure timely student enrolment and optimal batch filling.
• Collaborate with tech and content teams to ensure seamless access to LMS, class links, materials, and student support tools.

Monitoring, Reporting & Quality Assurance

• Conduct regular class audits, curriculum effectiveness checks, and faculty assessments.
• Submit weekly and monthly reports to the Head of Academics detailing batch performance, faculty status, and academic progress metrics.
• Track student satisfaction levels and academic performance, recommending corrective action when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English, Education, Management, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience managing academic teams or education programs.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
• Proven skills in curriculum development, academic coordination, and faculty management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people-management abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with language training courses like IELTS, PTE, OET, and German is preferred.
• Ability to manage high-pressure environments and multitask efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
