Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Academic Coordinator to join our team in supporting the educational journey of our students. The Academic Coordinator will play a pivotal role in facilitating academic programs, enhancing student engagement, and ensuring effective communication between students and faculty. This position requires a passion for education and a commitment to fostering an enriching learning environment within a university or higher education setting. Responsibilities Develop and implement academic programs that align with institutional goals and student needs. Collaborate with faculty and staff to coordinate course schedules, and academic policies. Provide guidance and support to students regarding academic requirements, course selection, and educational resources. Organize workshops, seminars, and events to promote student engagement and academic success. Monitor student progress and provide interventions as necessary to support their educational journey. Maintain accurate records of student performance and program effectiveness for reporting purposes. Serve as a liaison between students, faculty, and administration to facilitate effective communication. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education Administration or a related field; advanced degree preferred. 1-2 year experience working with students in an educational setting is essential. Strong understanding of higher education teaching practices and curriculum development. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with diverse populations. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Proficient in using technology for academic management systems and communication platforms.
